For a long time guys have been asking me why there aren't more women interested in HK flicks...Well there are a lot of women interested in hk flicks but very few will admit it when the tone of the conversation falls to the level of Amy Yip's breasts (as large as they may be, most women are not impressed by them...) Now should you talk about Jackie Chan or Chow Yun-fat or Andy Lau, well you might get a better response. See, Girls watch movies for the same reasons boys do, but we are just more circumspect about it. Besides, Most girls think that HK Film is just bad kung fu or guns...Oh boy are they misinformed.

I actually like gun flicks, ghost comedies and most especially kick flicks. When I first got hooked, I was too young to be paying attention to the guys, but as I got older, I appreciated them even more. Besides how could you not like beautiful young men in wet silk wrestling in mud? Or if its a gun flick, how could you not like lovely young men dressed in beautiful clothes, and sometimes in the steamier stuff, lovely young men in very little ...

These choices reflect my taste and some of my girlfriends' tastes. Please do not consider them absolute. We are always delighted to review new possibilities. However, the Author's bias is apparent and I admit it...
